Dutch Treat (1977)

"Dutch Treat" (1977) is an adult comedy film directed by Kemal Horulu and Thomas Van der Feer, set in Amsterdam's infamous red-light district.

The film follows two American men, Chuck (played by Roger Caine) and Barney (played by Zebedy Colt), who find themselves broke in Amsterdam. In an attempt to continue their escapades, they pose as Hollywood hotshots to seduce local women, particularly aspiring actresses, without paying. The narrative is a light-hearted, if not somewhat crude, exploration of their misadventures in the city known for its liberal attitudes toward sex and drugs."Dutch Treat" is often described as a companion piece to the more famous "The Playgirls of Munich," but with less acclaim. Reviews from the time describe it as mindless and somewhat lacking in humor, with the comedic efforts by the main characters falling flat. However, it does receive acknowledgment for having better production values than much of the homegrown adult cinema of its era.
